Specifications
SFKB constructs our cabinets with ¾” solid wood face frames for durability, strength and beauty. The face frame is pocket-screwed and wood glued at each joint and held in a framing machine to assure squareness.
The cabinet box is constructed with ¾” thick Birch veneered MDF. Wide stretchers are added on the top for strength and provide a solid platform for countertop installation. The cabinet interior is Birch veneer with melamine adjustable shelves. The backs are ¼” Birch plywood. Cabinet boxes and face frames are joined together using premium wood glue and are hand clamped providing a superior bond.
Drawer boxes are constructed with ½” engineered nine-ply Birch plywood with dovetail joints in the front and rabbet joints in the back. Drawer slides are Blum full extension, soft close, undermount slides that feature a 75lb. load capacity. Cabinet doors are constructed of ¾” inch solid wood frames and solid wood panels. For all painted finishes, a solid wood frame is used with an MDF center panel.
We have a variety of hinge types including standard overlay, full overlay, inset and frameless. Cabinets are available in many wood species, stain/opaque finishes and glazing/distressed techniques. Color match is also available.
